Looking for a Non-Smart Wireless Light Switch – Recommendations?

I'm on the hunt for a wireless light switch that doesn't require any internet connection or smart technology like Google or Apple. I understand some might use Bluetooth, but I really want to avoid Wi-Fi altogether. It feels nearly impossible to find products since most listings emphasize how connectable they are. Any suggestions for switches that can function independently without needing to hook up to anything?

If you don't want a 'smart' setup at all, RF (Radio Frequency) switches could be a good choice for you. They work fine without the need for internet and are generally reliable. I even found some decent options on AliExpress, which have better range than most products on Amazon.

That sounds promising! Thanks for the tip! I might check out the options you mentioned.

I recently came across the Lutron Caseta switches. They can be operated with their own Pico remote which doesn’t need to be connected to Wi-Fi. You can get a lot of functionalities without being part of any smart network. Plus, you can pair one remote with multiple switches!

Oh, that sounds great! One thing I struggle with is that everything claims to work with Alexa, and it’s hard to find that reassurance that it’s not mandatory.

You might want to look into light switches that come with remotes! They operate wirelessly and don't need any internet connection. They're super handy and I personally love mine! Just make sure to include 'remote' in your search next time.

There are tons of remote-controlled lights on Amazon. I've had good experiences with a couple of them.

Yes! I totally agree, I didn't think about using "remote" when I searched either.
