I have a Craftsman radial arm saw that was a gift for my husband. He had dreams of getting into woodworking, but it's clear that's not going to happen. Now, we're trying to decide whether it's worth anything to anyone or if I should just save myself the hassle and throw it away. The saw still has the blade guard, so there's no issue with recalls. Any advice on what to do with it?

Just a heads up, I've heard that radial arm saws can be pretty dangerous, and there are stories about Craftsman even paying people to get rid of their saws due to liability issues. If it's not something you or your husband are going to use, maybe it's best to just let it go!
You might want to check out Facebook Marketplace. If you list it for free, I bet someone will come to pick it up in no time! It can be a great way to clear some space in your garage without any hassle.
I wouldn’t toss it! It's a solid saw and could have some value. Just know the market is pretty saturated for these, so it might take a while to sell. If you're looking to get rid of it quickly, consider listing it for free. I did that with mine after upgrading, and I had tons of people interested almost instantly!

Good to know! I think I'll just toss it then.
