Help! Ants Are Taking Over My Garden – What Do I Do?

Asked By GreenThumbGuy42 On

I've got a serious ant invasion in my garden! I've tried using a garden-safe insect killer multiple times, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. I'm looking for effective solutions to deal with these pesky ants without harming my plants. Any advice?

You might want to give diatomaceous earth (food grade) a shot! It's a natural pest control method that works great against ants. Just be sure to apply it when it won't rain for a couple of days. And honestly, ants can actually be beneficial for your plants as they help aerate the soil and are rarely harmful unless they're really out of control.

Exactly! If the ants aren't causing any real damage, they might actually be more of a help than a hassle. They're usually just part of the garden ecosystem.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll definitely try that!
