Hey everyone! I recently bought a Parkside robot mower last April, and it's asking for a mandatory firmware update via the app. However, the update process keeps failing between 92% and 98%. It's super frustrating because I can't access the menu and it just keeps trying to restart the update. I've tried using two different Android phones since I thought the first one might be too old or slow, but I'm getting the same issue on both. Has anyone else faced this problem and found a solution? Parkside support just connects me to Lidl's service, but their staff seems totally clueless about this kind of issue. They keep asking if Bluetooth is on or if I'm connected to Wi-Fi, which isn't helpful at all. I'd really appreciate any tips from fellow Redditors!

I didn't even know there was a firmware update available! Does anybody know what this update actually does?
Sounds like a bummer! I dealt with the firmware update just a few days ago as well, but I ended up facing some serious hardware issues right after—got a 'hardware error 3' and the mower went out of bounds, which was wild! To avoid updates, I've just been scheduling my mowing directly on the mower's screen. Fingers crossed that your issue gets resolved soon!
Sorry to hear that! At least you're still able to use it without the app. Let's hope it stays stable for you.

No info has come up for me either. It'd be nice to have some details before going through that hassle!
