I recently spotted some docks nearby that have vibrant, giant red seed heads reaching about 1.5 meters tall. They really caught my eye! Has anyone tried cultivating dock as an ornamental plant? Also, do these seeds need stratification before planting?

I've never grown dock intentionally since they can be a hassle to remove later! Those massive taproots really dig deep, and those pretty seed heads produce a ton of seeds. You could try scattering some seeds now and see if they germinate in spring—if they don’t pop up, that might mean they need a colder period first.
