Can I Get Hinges That Hold My Cabinet Lid Open?

I have a cabinet that currently uses soft-closing European hinges on the lid. What I really need are hinges that can hold the lid open, regardless of whether it slams shut or closes slowly. Are there any options for hold-open hinges, aside from the large supports usually found on toy boxes?

Absolutely! You might want to try using special angle stops designed for European hinges. They can help keep your lid at a fixed angle. Check out something like this link for options: [Blum Opening Angle Stops](https://ea.blum.com/en/opening-angle-stops-for-110-and-107-hinges/). Also, you could consider dampers, as they can be quite useful too!

Just a heads-up, even with stops, if your lid isn't balanced, it might not stay open fully. Limiting how far the lid can open won't necessarily solve that issue. You may want to look for hinges specifically designed to hold the lid open.
