We've been living in our new build home for three years now, and it's built on a concrete slab. Recently, I've noticed some water droplets forming under each window on our south-facing wall, pooling on the concrete floor by the baseboard and trim. I checked everything and didn't see any signs of water damage or leaks. I also inspected the outside near the block foundation and found no issues there. Could this condensation just be due to the recent humid and hot weather? I've been running a window AC unit and plugged in a dehumidifier, but there hasn't been any improvement. It's not a lot of water, but I'm concerned about potential mold. What should I do?

It sounds like what you're experiencing might be condensation. One way to handle it is to try shading the outside of your home, like adding an awning, to keep the heat out. That will make a difference because anything you do inside won't really resolve the issue. Letting the warm air from outside hit cooler surfaces leads to this problem, so keeping things shaded can help reduce condensation.

Interesting idea! But do you think there could be other contributing factors? It seems odd that it's water from outside since it hasn't rained, and it’s been super humid.
