Hey everyone! I'm in my 20s and currently stuck in bed feeling sick for a while. I thought it might brighten up my space if I added some plants. I'm particularly interested in plants that are hard to kill and can thrive in low light. I have a window for some light, but on days when I'm not feeling well, I can't always keep the blinds open. I have a bookcase where I can place them, and I even have some hooks in the ceiling, so I'm open to hanging plants too. Any suggestions or beginner tips would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well! For hanging plants, I recommend getting a pothos. They're super easy to care for and grow pretty fast. They don't need much light either! Also, snake plants are great because they're really low-maintenance in terms of watering. I had one that thrived even when it was away from the window, though moving it closer helped it grow even better.

Absolutely! ZZ plants are also fantastic for low light and require very little water—like, once a month at most.
