My neighbor's dog keeps sneaking into my yard and I'm really worried about him peeing on my flowers. I've already talked to my neighbor and they mentioned they're getting a special collar to keep the dog from wandering over, but it hasn't solved the problem yet. I don't mind the dog being around, but my roses and peonies are at risk! I can't control the dog, so what are some ways I can protect my plants from him marking his territory?

One straightforward option is to think about fixing or reinforcing your fence. If there are holes or weak spots, reinforcing those could help keep the dog away from your plants entirely.
A motion-activated sprinkler could be a great solution. It would definitely deter the dog from wanting to hang out in your yard, and if he does pee, it’ll help wash away the urine so it’s less damaging to your plants. Plus, it doubles as a garden aid in summer!
Interesting! I didn’t know that was a thing, but I know just where to put it! Thanks for the rec!

My fence is not broken.
