I'm looking to paint my wooden cabinets and need some advice. I can't decide between Kilz or Zinsser Bullseye for primer, and for the paint, should I go with Benjamin Moore Advance or INSL-X Cabinet Coat? I've done some research and here's the plan I'm thinking of: 1. Clean with TSP 2. Sand 3. Apply Primer 4. Sand again 5. Apply another layer of Primer 6. Paint. Do you think this is a solid approach? Also, should I invest in a sprayer for the paint, or would a brush work just fine?

I actually used Sherwin Williams Pro Classic interior acrylic latex in Gloss for my cabinets, and it turned out really well! So I highly recommend it if you're looking for a good finish!
For cabinet painting, either primer you mentioned will work just fine! Personally, I sand first and then do the TSP cleaning. You might hear various opinions about sanding the primer, but I skip that step and my paint still looks great. Regarding waiting between primer and paint, I've waited just a day or two with no problems. Just make sure you really focus on sanding and cleaning for a smooth finish. Also, while sprayers can be handy, I ended up sticking with rolling and brushing to avoid any potential mechanical issues—just do your homework if you decide to go that route!
What specific Sherwin Williams paint did you use?
Awesome, I appreciate the input!

Thanks for the tip! I guess I’ll just sand once and dive into the paint. I'll definitely consider Sherwin Williams.
