I recently bought some seeds online to plant next year, but I realized that the seeds are practically expired based on the packet. The seller told me that the seeds could still be viable next year, but I'm worried about them not germinating since annuals won't grow next year if I wait. I sowed the seeds quickly out of concern. I contacted customer service about this, and while I got a half refund, I feel like I should have received a full refund for the expired seeds. I'm debating whether to leave a negative review as a matter of principle. What do you all think? Was the half refund fair? Should I leave a review?

Honestly, if you paid for new seeds, you should expect them to be in good condition and not expired. Even if it’s only a couple of quid, it’s more about the principle! A full refund seems more appropriate since you didn’t receive what you were initially promised. Definitely consider leaving a review so other buyers are aware!
I get where you’re coming from. While the seeds can still be used, it’s about what you expected when you ordered. I think a half refund is a bit stingy. You probably should leave a review, not just for yourself but to help inform others!
It's a tricky situation. While technically the seeds aren't expired yet, you shouldn’t have to risk your garden’s success after paying full price. I would consider leaving a review just to highlight the issue for others. It's all about keeping sellers accountable!
