Help! My Festool Domino Won’t Turn Off – What Could Be Wrong?

Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with my Festool domino machine. It won't turn off, no matter if it's plugged directly into the wall or connected to my Festool dust extractor. I'm wondering if it's clogged or if the switch is malfunctioning. Has anyone else faced this problem? It's still under warranty, and I know I could send it in for repairs, but I'd like to troubleshoot and potentially fix it myself first. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

Sounds like it might be a faulty switch. I would recommend giving Festool a call to discuss it. If you're up for troubleshooting, does the switch feel stuck or does it move at all? Sometimes, sawdust can jam it up. You could try using compressed air to clean it out. If that doesn't work, you might need to take it apart a bit to get it fully clear.

Good idea! Just make sure to blow it out carefully without damaging anything. Calling Festool might be good too, just to see what they suggest.
