Can Someone Help Me Figure Out My Drip Irrigation Math?

I'm trying to calculate the total water output from my drip irrigation system, which has one emitter at 1 gallon per hour and another at 2 gallons per hour. If I run the system for one minute, that gives me 0.05 gallons, and if I run it for five minutes, that's 0.25 gallons. Now, if I'm doing a cycle soak with two waterings, would that total to 0.5 gallons? I'd appreciate any guidance!

It's a bit more complicated than it seems because your water pressure plays a big role in how much water actually comes out. If you're really interested in getting exact numbers, I'd recommend measuring the amount of water produced by your emitters over a set time and then use that to figure out your total output. That way, you get a clearer idea of your system's efficiency!

I’m curious, what pressure are you working with?
