I'm curious to hear about the plants you might have gotten excited about but then regretted once they were in your care. What's the one plant you would absolutely NEVER buy again, and why?

Alocasia silver dragon is the bane of my existence! It's always so close to death, with just a few sad leaves left. Every time I think I’ve got it figured out, it drops leaves like there’s no tomorrow.
I have to agree on calathea plants. They always seem to end up with crispy leaves no matter what. Plus, they're not even that pretty to deal with all that hassle!
Definitely the Pink Princess Philodendron for me! They're super fussy and require so much attention, which is a bummer. I actually bought a more mature one the other day after my first one got hit with thrips and then root rot. I'm really hoping this time goes better!
I feel you! I've heard they can be tricky. Best of luck with your new one!
I can't stand any fern with tiny leaves, especially the asparagus fern. They're just a nightmare to keep healthy!
Right? They require so much watering and humidity; it drives me crazy!

Haha, I know! Do they only grow one leaf and drop two just to mess with us?
