Hey everyone! I recently bought a hammer drill, and I've been facing a pretty frustrating issue with the chuck. Right after I got it, the chuck became super stiff, making it really hard to open and close. I haven't dropped or damaged it at all, so it feels odd that it would be this way. I even tried applying some tool oil to see if it would help loosen things up, but no luck! It seems like something might be binding inside, possibly a spring? I haven't removed the chuck yet because I'm worried about voiding the warranty, and I reached out to Milwaukee for support but haven't heard back. Has anyone else experienced similar problems?

I had a similar issue where the chuck wouldn't hold bits properly, and my speed selector was acting up too. My drill was about a year and a half old. I filed a service request online and got a response from Milwaukee the next day! They replaced my chuck and speed selector assembly within a week. So don’t hesitate to reach out again; you might use a different email or contact method!

Sounds like I might have emailed the wrong address. I looked online for their warranty info but didn't get a reply. I'll try contacting them again.
