I planted two types of carrot seeds at the end of March: one variety is supposed to be ready in 45-65 days, and the other takes about 75 days. Now it's been over three months, and while the greens are thriving at about a foot tall, there's no sign of any actual carrots growing. I did find a tiny carrot on the ground and pulled one that started to flower, but it was really nothing to write home about. I'm confused about why the greens are doing so well but the carrots aren't producing. What am I doing wrong?

Honestly, I think carrot seed packs can be a bit deceiving! It's not just you; I've noticed that they rarely align with reality. Just hang in there and give them some extra time!
Yeah, carrots can be super slow to mature, especially if you're in warmer weather. Sometimes they take forever! I plan to clear out space for a proper carrot patch next time, as they need their own room to grow.
For sure, they might just need more time! I've found that carrots often do better as the weather cools down. Just be patient – they’ll come around!
