Hey everyone, I could use a quick sanity check. I'm doing some renovations in my new home and decided to replace all my switch and outlet covers. A lot of the old ones were damaged and had old paint, so I wanted everything to look fresh.
I bought a few packs of Leviton covers, but I've noticed that they're all slightly curved, which makes them not sit flush against the wall. Is this typical for these covers, or did I just get a bad batch that won't settle down? I've already checked a couple of walls and made sure they aren't over-tightened, but they still look the same. Just a heads up, these are nylon covers, not plastic. Here are some pics: [https://imgur.com/a/SVd61xK](https://imgur.com/a/SVd61xK)

It looks like something's off there. I'd recommend returning them and getting a new set. You could also reach out to Leviton for a potential warranty replacement. Trust me, they're not going to settle into place on their own; you might just be out of luck with this batch!
Just curious, did you get those covers from a local store or online? I've noticed that with some online purchases, especially lately, there's a risk of getting counterfeit or low-quality materials. With that said, it's good you bought locally to avoid that gamble!
