Hey plant pals! I'm a huge fan of having plants, but I've hit a snag with fungus gnats after repotting some of my favorites and adding moss poles. I've been using mosquito bit tea for a month, but the gnats just keep coming back, especially around the sphagnum moss. Recently, I found out my Black Majesty Philodendron has actually rooted into the moss, which is awesome, but I'm worried about removing the moss due to the root situation. Has anyone else dealt with a gnats infestation in moss, and how did you tackle it? Also, any tips for continuing to use moss poles without these pesky gnats would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to try using predatory nematodes. They're available from places like Natures Good Guys, and they're actually effective against those annoying fungus gnats! Just water with them like you do with mosquito bits, and the cool thing is they're not harmful to your plants or anything else except for the gnats. It's worth a shot!

That's interesting! Can you actually see the nematodes when you use them?
