Hey everyone! I'm just starting my gardening journey and have a ton of dill, cilantro, and rosemary growing like crazy. I love using dill for pickles, but I have some questions about my herbs. For dill and cilantro, if I cut them back to the lower stems, will they keep growing? I notice some of them have begun to bolt and flower, so I'm wondering if that means they're done for the season. As for the rosemary, it's thriving, and I pick it fresh whenever I need it. But if I want to keep it for later, can I just harvest all the sprigs and freeze them? And if I take the leaves off the sprigs, can I store those in an airtight container? Thanks for any advice!

Definitely cut back bolting herbs like dill and cilantro! It helps promote new growth, though I admit it can get exhausting trying to keep on top of it. I find that planting them in shadier spots can help a lot, plus staggering their planting times is a great idea for continuous harvests!

Oh staggering sounds smart! I'm definitely going to try that next planting season.
