Need Help Choosing and Using a Pocket Hole Jig for My Workbench

I'm trying to build a workbench and I'm pretty confused after watching a video. About 7 minutes in, the presenter uses a pocket hole jig to drill holes into the wood. I'd like to learn how to use one too, but I have no idea what size jig to buy, where to put the holes, or how many boards I should be putting holes in. After painting and cutting the wood, the video doesn't provide any clear instructions on where to screw everything together. Can anyone help me out? Here's the video I watched: https://youtu.be/nKwFm5wExwg?si=g2Mw4Bc68iRNOk6Q

Pocket hole jigs are quite versatile! They typically come adjustable to accommodate different wood thicknesses. You'll find there are budget-friendly options like the Kreg 320, along with pricier models, but they all do similar jobs. Each jig usually includes a guide or table that explains how to set it up based on what you’re working with. Just remember to get the right length of pocket screws based on the material thickness you'll be using. A quick Google search can help you out with that!

Does the height setting matter for the jig? Or is it all pretty standard? Like, if I'm drilling into a 2x4 at 29 inches, what size holes should I drill? I've got the Kreg jig 320, but I’m still a bit confused about the right drill bit size.
