I'm at my wit's end with my cats constantly digging in my indoor plant pots. I've tried a ton of different methods to deter them—like using citrus, foil, skewers, pepper, and even putting the plants on high stands. I've also tried sprinkling paprika and using cinnamon sticks to keep them away, but nothing seems to work! I'm really desperate for a solution. Does anyone have any effective tips?

Have you thought about using river rocks? I’ve put large lava rocks around my outdoor pots to keep squirrels away, and I think they work well because they’re too big to be moved easily. Plus, I doubt your cats would enjoy digging through those rocky textures either! Just make sure they're large enough not to be swallowed.

I worry a bit about that too, especially if a cat might eat one. Maybe just watch them while they’re around the rocks?
