I'm trying to fix my sleep problem and I've come up with a wild idea. I want to create a sprinkler system that sprays my bed with water at a strong setting if I don't flip a switch in my backyard. The goal is to force myself to wake up and go turn it off. Does anyone know how I could make this work?

Or you could just sleep outside under a sprinkler if you’re really set on the whole water thing! But for real, just try lights first; they’re less damaging and can really wake you up nicely.
Honestly, this sounds like a recipe for disaster—mold and water damage could be serious issues! You might want to think of a different approach before you soak your bed. Like seriously, just having an alarm clock at the other side of the room can help you wake up by making you get out of bed instead of drenching everything.
How about looking into some fun alarm clocks instead? There’s one that rolls away so you have to chase it to turn it off. It might be a lot more effective and definitely a lot cleaner compared to getting soaked!
If you really want to get your DIY on, you could consider using an Arduino to control a solenoid valve. But really, I don’t recommend it at all. There are way less messy ways to wake yourself up, like bright lights or something!
Right? A good light alarm or something that buzzes would be way better than drenching your bed.

Exactly! Plus, the whole sprinkler idea might just ruin your mattress. A good alarm clock works wonders!
