Hey everyone! I'm not a fan of the typical beefsteak tomatoes you find in stores or on sandwiches, but I've heard that homegrown tomatoes are a completely different experience. I'm curious if I can find a type of tomato I'll actually enjoy. I love using tomatoes in sauces but want some suggestions on which seeds to buy for growing. Any recommendations?

For beginners, cherry tomatoes like Supersweet 100 are easy to grow and tasty. Also, Better Boy and Early Girl are solid choices for general use. If you're open to experimenting, you can even try growing seeds from supermarket tomatoes! Just make sure to use large containers for container gardening and go for determinate types like Roma.
If you like pasta sauce, you might enjoy Roma tomatoes. They're perfect for cooking and have less water content. I’d definitely say go for Sungold cherry tomatoes, Paul Robeson, or Brandywine Sudduth. They all have distinct flavors, so pick one that sounds good to you!
