Hey fellow gardeners! I'm on the hunt for the best tools for commercial gardening and I've got my eyes on Niwaki and Wolf Garten. I've heard good things about Wolf Garten, but not much about Niwaki when it comes to professional use. Are Niwaki tools durable enough to handle daily use, 5-6 days a week? Has anyone here used them for commercial work? Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences!

Wolf Garten gear seems a bit flimsy to me. Niwaki is definitely popular right now, and while they make nice tools, they can be pricey. Just keep in mind, they use pretty hard steel, which is sharp but might chip easily. If you do heavy clearance work, you might want to think twice about Niwaki.
I've used Wolf Garten tools, and honestly, they work well for me. I like their multi-tools since I don’t need to carry too many different poles. My go-to is the pull-push hoe with a long handle—definitely worth considering! Just depends on what you value more.
If you're open to alternatives, Ars tools are fantastic. They offer great Japanese steel quality, which is way better than Wolf Garten, and they’re not as overpriced as Niwaki. I've had my Ars secateurs and loppers for a couple of years now, and they've outlasted my old Wolf stuff by a mile.
Niwaki is where it's at! They're just beautiful and feel amazing to use. I find they last a long time, plus there's something really satisfying about cleaning and sharpening them after a long week. Just a heads up, I’m not a commercial gardener, but I've been using theirs at home and my allotment multiple times a week. They hold up well!
That sounds super relaxing! I can totally see how a little maintenance time with a beer could be enjoyable. Maybe Niwaki is the way to go for me!

Good to know about Ars! I’ll definitely check them out. Quality tools make all the difference.
