Hey everyone! I've been doing some serious pruning in my garden and have a bunch of branches and leaves to get rid of. Can I just toss them in the back of my car and take it all to the local recycling center, or do I need to bag everything first? Thanks for your help!

Definitely check your local council's website before you go. Some tips might require an appointment, and it's good to know what they accept. Bagging it up can make things easier, but if you're dumping a lot, just be ready to handle it all manually at the tip.
It really depends on the rules of your local tip. Most places are cool with you bringing unbagged waste, but you'll need to check if they have restrictions, like with certain sizes of branches. It'll save you some hassle at the tip to know ahead of time!
You can usually take it straight to the recycling center in your car without bagging it. Just a heads-up, though: when you get there, you'll have to unload your stuff into a skip manually, so be ready for that. The bags aren't allowed since they want everything to be composted properly.
