I'm curious about the typical thickness of chip carving knife blades. Specifically, how thick are they generally, and do different brands vary in this regard?

From my experience, the blades, like my Flexcut ones, are really thin—around 1/10 of a mm at the thickest part. It's interesting how varying brands can have different thicknesses, though!

1/10 mm? That seems super thin! I heard from someone else that it can be about 1.5 mm for certain models.
