Should I Charge Extra for Moving Tile After Delivery?

I'm currently working on a $100k renovation job that includes two bathroom remodels. The client purchased the tiles themselves, and they were delivered curbside only. My two workers had to spend about an hour moving all the tiles inside. Do you think I should charge the client extra for this inconvenience?

Honestly, I wouldn’t worry too much about billing for a couple of man-hours on a major project like this. You’re already charging a significant amount, and it’s not worth the hassle over a small extra fee.

It seems a bit petty to add $100-$200 extra on a $100k job. If this contractor is reliable, they should handle those kind of details without charging extra. If it were me, I’d appreciate the effort instead of looking for more charges.

If it's a fixed fee job, and you didn't discuss an additional charge upfront, then I wouldn't add it. But if you're billing hourly or for materials, then absolutely include it. Just make sure to communicate with your client so they understand.
