I've got a Milwaukee weed trimmer (model 2828-20) that won't run properly. It tries to start when I pull the trigger, but it shuts off immediately. I'm wondering if it might be stuck in a safety mode or if there's another issue. Has anyone experienced this or have any tips to get it working again?

I had a similar issue before. One thing to check is the length of your trimmer string. If it’s too long, it can cause the motor to cut out to prevent damage. Make sure it’s adjusted right. It’s not really a safety feature, just the motor reacting to too much load.
