How Can I Successfully Grow Lemon Thyme Indoors?

I'm really into lemon thyme, but I've struggled to keep them alive after purchasing them from places like Menards and Lowes. I always repot them with soil that has good drainage and only water when the soil is dry. I've tried placing them in a south-facing window and also next to my AeroGarden for extra light. The one by the AeroGarden lasted the longest but still ended up dying. Is it truly possible to grow lemon thyme indoors, or is it just suited for outdoor gardening?

It’s great to hear you’re giving lemon thyme a shot! Just a heads-up, even with grow lights, make sure you’re not over-watering. I had a similar issue where the leaves dried up even though I thought I was doing everything right. Sometimes, herbs just need a bit more time to adjust.

Investing in a good grow light specifically for herbs could really help your lemon thyme thrive. I take care of rosemary indoors under grow lights during the winter in Canada, and it's been doing great! They usually enjoy being outside too, especially if the weather's nice.
