I'm getting back into woodworking after a long break and I'm planning to make some cabinets for my shop. I checked out a big box store, but the price for "cabinet grade" 3/4 plywood was around $70. Is this standard pricing, or should I try to find a dedicated wood supplier near me in the Thumb area of Michigan?

Keep exploring! A good cabinet shop supplier can usually offer pre-finished boards on one or both sides for a better price. Plus, their stock tends to be in better condition, so you won't waste time sorting through damaged stuff.
If you're in the Thumb area, check out Public Lumber in the Detroit suburbs. They have a great selection of sheet goods with graded faces, plus a huge inventory of rough and S4S lumber.

That's what I thought! I appreciate the advice since I've been out of the loop.
