Looking for Plant Watering Apps: Any Recommendations?

I'm on the lookout for some good apps that can help me with my plant care. Specifically, I'm hoping to find one that lets me input the type of plants I have and will then remind me when it's time to water them. I struggle with remembering to water, so any suggestions would be super helpful!

I love using Planta! The free version gives you watering reminders, which keeps me organized. Just make sure to check the soil before you water, though; I’ve overwatered plants before because they weren’t getting enough airflow. If the soil is still wet, you can snooze the reminder, which is handy!

Honestly, I’d advise against using apps for scheduled watering. It's better to water when your plants show signs of needing it. Otherwise, they might be dead by the time you notice!

Same here! My snake plant was super soft since I forgot about it, and my pothos just got fried because I left her outside waiting for rain that never came. So frustrating! ?

You might want to check out PictureThis! I’ve been using it, and it’s pretty handy. Planta is another great option that can help you manage your watering and fertilizer schedules. Both have free trials, so you can test them out!

If you have trouble remembering to water, consider using Blumat spikes! They work well with a water reservoir next to your plants to keep them hydrated. It's a great way to help avoid forgetting to water them entirely!
