I need some advice on caring for my cosmos plants. I'm getting married next year and I want to grow flowers for my wife. Right now, I'm practicing with my cosmos, but I'm worried because one of them is dying. I water it every day, but I'm not sure if that's too much or too little. I'd really appreciate any tips from plant experts on how to save my precious plant!

Cosmos are actually pretty drought-tolerant, so it sounds like you might be overwatering if the plant is well-established. It would help to know where you're located and what the growing conditions have been like. That info can give you a clearer picture of what’s going on. You mentioned you’re in central Indiana. What’s the pot situation like? If it’s not draining well, that might be part of the issue too!

Thanks for the advice! I really appreciate it. I did move it to a larger pot since the smaller one wasn't draining. I’ll definitely keep an eye on the watering!
