Are Amazon and Walmart Sellers Reliable for Tools?

I'm curious if anyone here knows about the reliability of sellers on Amazon and Walmart, especially for tools like batteries. I've found some batteries that look like a great deal, but I'm wondering if there are any reputable sellers to buy from, or if it's all a gamble. Are there any brands or sellers you trust?

In my opinion, there's no guarantee of authenticity when buying from Amazon or Walmart. You're often rolling the dice on whether you get a real product or a knockoff. If you care about warranties and quality, look for authorized dealers instead. It's safer in the long run!

Honestly, I'd be cautious with sellers on Amazon and Walmart. A lot of time, the products can be counterfeit or not come with proper warranties. You're better off checking out authorized retailers like Home Depot or Ace Hardware. They usually have competitive prices and you'll be covered if something goes wrong.

I had a bad experience buying what I thought was a genuine Milwaukee battery on Amazon, but it turned out to be fake. It looked real until I tried using it, and then I found out there was no warranty. Lesson learned—if you can, stick with authorized dealers.

Totally relate to that! I’ve had my fair share of issues too. It's just not worth risking it. I'd rather pay a bit more and know I’m getting the real deal.
