Why Are My LED Bulbs Flickering in the Kitchen?

I recently replaced the bulbs in my kitchen's recessed cam lights with GE LED bulbs in March 2024. Lately, I've noticed that the lights flicker when I turn them on. Just tonight, one of the lights turned off completely and came back on by itself within a second or two. I'm curious if this flickering is likely due to bad bulbs, an electrical issue, or problems with the transformers in the fans, considering I've used them about 3 hours a day on average over the past 1.5 years.

First off, are your lights on a dimmer switch? If so, flickering can often occur with LED bulbs if they're not compatible with the dimmer. But if you've got all LEDs and no dimmers, it might be something else. Sometimes mixing different types of bulbs on the same circuit can cause flickering too. Have you checked if all your fixtures are purely LED? That could help narrow it down.

Sounds like a tricky situation! Since you've confirmed all the lights are LED and not using a dimmer, it might be worth looking into electrical issues. Flickering can indicate loose wiring or other electrical problems. If the bulbs are relatively new, it's less likely they're faulty unless you received a bad batch. Sometimes, transformers can also fail, especially if they're old. You might want to consult an electrician to have a closer look!
