I've noticed that every time I clean up this pile of dirt that appears under my window's floor trim, it comes back in the same spot. I'm wondering if this could be caused by rodents or bugs, or if it might just be dirt from outside making its way indoors. Has anyone else experienced this?

For what it’s worth, it doesn't really seem like dirt from outside. I think it could be from termites, but I'm no expert. If you feel adventurous, you could consider opening up the wall to check—though that sounds a bit scary! Imagine what you might find in there!
It might be termite frass, which is basically poop from termites. If you’re seeing this, it’s a sign of a possible infestation. I'd recommend checking on it more closely or getting a professional evaluation to be sure.
