Looking for Recommendations on SDS Plus Hammer Drills for Heavy Use

Hey everyone! I'm curious if anyone has experience with SDS Plus hammer drills that can handle a lot of work throughout the day. I'm often drilling wooden shavings and cement plates for insulation on basement ceilings, and I can end up drilling between 400 to 800 holes (1-2 inches) for metal anchors using replaceable drill bits every day. Right now, I'm using a cordless 2.9J 40v Makita, but I'm considering a switch to Milwaukee. I've got my eyes on the Milwaukee M18 ONEFHPX-0X since it's rated at 5J of energy, and I'm hoping it might perform better than my current drill. My main questions are: Is this model tough enough to last 4-6 months under such heavy use? And can it be paired with a dust extractor or vacuum attachment? I'd really appreciate any insights or advice!

I have the Milwaukee 2915 model, and it drills 3/8 holes in concrete in about 4 seconds, so I'm quite satisfied with its performance! Definitely seems like it could keep up with your demands if you decide to go that route.

That’s good to hear! Do you know if it can accommodate a dust extractor? I’m looking for something that can connect directly to the drill.
