Hey everyone! I'm planning to do some maintenance on my AC unit and need to disconnect the switch first. However, the switch I have looks quite different from the standard ones I've found in tutorials. I have a photo of it here: https://imgur.com/a/HWBVBrk. I suspect I just need to pull the handle until it pops out, but I want to double-check before I risk doing it wrong and causing damage. This unit has been around for over 30 years, so it's definitely vintage. Any advice would be really appreciated! Thanks!

Yeah, just pull that handle! It should release the switch. It can feel a bit stiff since it's older, but that's usually how it works. Just make sure you're ready to follow up with the maintenance right after! Good luck!
Definitely pull the handle, but be cautious! Since your unit is older, if it feels like it's stuck or not moving smoothly, give it a little wiggle or check if there are any obvious signs of wear. Always better to be safe, especially with older electrical equipment!
