Hey everyone! I just moved into a new house, and I've noticed some serious issues with the shower tiles. The caulking is all black and grimy right from day one, and the grout looks uneven between the tiles. There's also a little bench in the shower that I love, but it was poorly designed with no slope for proper drainage.
I'm looking for solutions that won't involve completely ripping everything out and starting fresh. Additionally, I'm really not a fan of the current tile color and would prefer something darker. Is there any way to tint or dye these faux-marble tiles?

Unfortunately, from what you’re describing, it sounds like the only real fix would involve tearing everything out and redoing the tiling. You can try cleaning and sealing the grout, but you can't change the spacing or the slope effectively. If you're looking to alter the color, there’s tile paint available, or you could consider having it professionally glazed, but I’d be hesitant to do that on a new installation.
Wow, that sounds discouraging. Is there really no way to fix the slope problem without a total redo?
You should definitely be able to share pictures! Try posting it as a comment or create an Imgur link to share it. It might have to be separate from the original post though.
Thanks! I’ll give that a shot. Just wanted to clarify things more visually.

Thanks for the advice! Any tips on what product I could use to finish off the edge of the bench so it doesn't just look like raw tile?
