I've got an okra plant that's being overshadowed by my tomato plants. I want to know if okra really needs full sun to thrive, and if it's possible to transplant it to a sunnier spot in my garden. Should I move it to another raised bed that gets more sunlight, or is it better to leave it where it is?

You might consider trimming back your tomato plants a bit more to let some light in for your okra. Sometimes just thinning out the lower leaves can make a difference. But if the okra has already bloomed, it's probably worth thinking about where you'll plant it next year for even better results!
Okra is definitely a full sun plant! It thrives in hot weather and needs plenty of sunlight to do its best. If you can, moving it to a place where it can soak up full sun will help it grow better. Just keep in mind that okra has a deep taproot, so it doesn't like being moved around too much.
