How to Wire Different Sized Solar Panels Together?

Hey everyone! I could really use some help. I have two 200w solar panels on my camper, but one of them got smashed by a tree last night. Since I'm heading out on a trip tomorrow, I quickly picked up two 100w panels to bring my total back to 400w. I'm a bit clueless about how to wire these three panels together, especially since I only had a splitter for two. I'm using a Renogy Wanderer controller and a 300ah lithium battery. Can anyone guide me on how to set this up?

First off, check the voltage on each panel. If they are both 12/24v and your controller can handle the input, you're good to go. You could use a second splitter for the third panel or even a bus bar to connect them. Just ensure that the voltage open circuit (voc) of the panels is similar to avoid any issues. Good luck!

So you're saying a 3-way splitter would work here?

Absolutely! If your controller can manage the total wattage and voltage without exceeding its limits, adding a third panel shouldn't be a problem. Just be sure all panels are roughly the same voltage; otherwise, it can get tricky. A splitter or bus bar is definitely the way to go!
