We installed a radon mitigation system about three years ago, but after a heavy rain, our basement flooded. I discovered water seeping in around the pipe where it enters the ground, and I can even hear water swishing around in there. The company that installed the system now only offers radon testing and doesn't handle installations or repairs anymore. I'm unsure if I can ask them to fix this problem. Should I consider this a potential installation issue and look into claiming insurance for it since they're a licensed company?

It sounds like you might have an issue with the installation if water is coming in through the radon vent. Usually, those systems need a proper seal or a cap to prevent rainwater from flowing down the pipe. It may be worth digging down to check for any sealing issues.
Three years is quite a while for a radon system to go without issues, but that doesn't mean the company isn't responsible. Just because they don't offer repairs anymore doesn't absolve them from their previous work under warranty or insurance. You should definitely document the issue and speak to them about it.

Thanks for the advice! I didn’t think about checking the seal. That makes sense.
