Why Are My White Clothes Getting Yellow Stains in the Washer?

Asked By CuriousCat123 On

I've noticed that the last five loads of laundry with white clothes have been coming out with yellow stains, particularly around the collars and underarms. I've tried washing them at various temperatures and settings, and I've even checked the washer for any remnants causing the stains but came up empty. I'm really frustrated since I've ruined five items already! Has anyone experienced this or have any tips to help?

Have you thought about using bleach when washing your whites? It can help get rid of tough stains and brighten up the fabric. Just be careful, as bleach can sometimes turn sweat or deodorant stains yellow if not used correctly. If you'd like to share pictures, you could upload them to Imgur and then post the links here!

I haven't used bleach yet, but I'm wondering if it might help? Could it also be an issue with the washing machine itself?
