Can I charge a portable battery at work to boost my home solar system?

Hey, it's sweltering summer where I am, and just like last year, my solar setup is having a hard time keeping my fridge running. It's draining my lithium batteries since temps are soaring to 100°F daily. I'm curious about how I could charge an external battery at work so I can take it home to top off my two 200Ah lithium batteries. Any advice on this?

Definitely possible! But instead of sneaking power at work, just get another solar panel. More panels generally translate to better performance. If you have a chest-style fridge, that will also help out with efficiency—they're known to use less power than the upright versions!

Bringing an extra battery to work is doable, but you might find it much simpler to invest in a new solar panel! If you're running a 12V system, think about getting a 450-500W panel. This way, you can charge more power without having to haul batteries around. Plus, it's a more efficient long-term solution.

Honestly, if you're planning to charge a big battery at work, it might get tricky! A good option might be to look for a solution that allows for fast charging without causing drama at work. Id recommend considering getting a more powerful solar setup at home instead—maybe adding a few more panels to offset those fridge demands. It'll probably save you time and hassle in the long run!
