Hey everyone! I know it's July, but I'm actually in the market for a snowblower. I was eyeing the Milwaukee model, but at $1500, I think they've lost the plot. I'm particularly interested in the DeWalt unit, but the reviews on Home Depot are pretty negative. Has anyone here used it? I want to know if it's worth the investment or if I should consider other options. Just to note, I'm not looking for a dual-stage model right now since that seems like overkill for my needs. Any thoughts or personal experiences would be super helpful!

If it were up to me, I’d go for the Ego snowblower. They’re known to have the best cordless options out there. I’ve got both their one-stage and dual-stage models, and they work like a charm! You might even find a slightly used one at a great price if you check local listings. Plus, they’re super easy to use—no heavy lifting or gas fumes!
In my experience, the DeWalt model has its quirks. It may not scrape perfectly to the ground, but it does handle light snow well. It's $500 cheaper than the Milwaukee, which is a significant plus! I’ve had pretty decent luck with it, although it might struggle with heavy, wet snow. Best to keep that in mind!
I’ve found it works pretty well for my drive, but you’re right about the wet snow—it can be tricky! Still, I appreciate the lightweight design.
Honestly, the best time to score a snowblower deal is when you don't actually need one! I've owned the DeWalt for a couple of years, and it fits our needs perfectly. No issues so far! The Flex Volt batteries are a major plus since I can use them with my other tools too. Really handy!
Same here! I’ve got a whole setup of DeWalt tools, so battery life isn’t a concern for me either.

Great tip about looking for used ones! I found a couple of good deals online too. It's nice to see that electric ones are getting good reviews.
