I recently received some spider plant pups that are rooting really well, and I'm super excited to plant them in some dirt. However, I'm unsure about the size of the pots I should use. I've been searching for these pups for years and I want to make sure I take care of them properly. I have some cute cut glass bowls from a thrift store that I'd love to use, but I'm not sure if they're big enough for the pups.

I’d advise against using those cut glass bowls unless you add a liner. They might not drain well, which can be problematic for the health of your plants. A 4-inch pot is typically a good starting point for spider plant pups.
The pot size really depends on the root system of your pups. For mine, I started them in small 6-8 oz plastic cups that have drainage holes. I didn’t even wait for them to root in water; I just placed them directly on the soil and they adapted fine. Clear containers are nice because you can quickly see how fast the roots are growing. Just keep in mind, they can outgrow these pots faster than you think!
