I recently had my shower floor and niche grouted, and I'm a bit worried about the results. The grout color isn't what I expected (I should've chosen a darker shade), but my main concern is the crevices between the stones. They seem to be pooling water and look like little craters. Should I be worried about this, or is there nothing I can do?

What kind of grout did your contractor use? Knowing the product could help assess the situation better.
Honestly, I think the stone choice might be influencing how the grout turned out. With that kind of texture, it’s common for there to be some divots. It might help if the grout was applied with a straighter edge to minimize those pockets. Just a thought!

They mentioned using Laticrete Permacolor grout, but it might have been Spectralock epoxy grout at first. I'll double-check!
