Hey everyone! I'm curious about the legitimacy of the admins in the "Dewalt tools for sale" Facebook group. I've noticed that some of the prices seem way too good to be true, even considering overstock, scratch/dent, and returns. Do you think this group could be a scam?

I got out of that group pretty quickly after joining. Just had a bad vibe about it, definitely felt like a scam.

There's a high chance it's a scam. If you don’t see a bunch of people giving positive feedback about their purchases, then I’d be skeptical. Like others said, the mods could be the ones pulling the scams and blocking any warnings.

I haven't checked out that specific group, but I joined another one called Dewalt Deals that seems pretty sketchy. There are a couple of guys in there selling a ton of Dewalt gear, but it's hard to tell if they're getting returns from stores or if it's just fake stuff. Just be cautious!

Yeah, I've seen those guys too. It's hard to know what's real and what's not.

Honestly, I'd treat all these Facebook sales groups with a grain of salt. Usually, you'll see the admins or mods trying to sell stuff and shutting down any negative comments. I feel like dealing with eBay might be safer, even if it’s just some sellers from China.
