Hey everyone! I'm currently working on upgrading my garage tools and I'm caught between getting a 1/2" or a 3/8" Milwaukee Digital Torque Wrench. I've got the M12 line and a range of regular tools already. I'm building a truck right now, and I find myself needing to torque bolts quite often. I was using a Snap-On torque wrench, but it can't be recalibrated anymore. Eventually, I want to move into engine building, but for now, I'm mostly focused on suspension kits and brake systems. Which size do you think would be the better choice for me?

Honestly, I'd steer clear of the Milwaukee torque wrench. If you're serious about the quality of your tools, I'd recommend looking into an Icon wrench or something comparable. They often offer better value for what you get.
If you’re not working with extremely high torque specifications, I’d suggest going for the 3/8" wrench. It tends to be more versatile for most automotive tasks and should handle your current needs well.
As someone who works in automotive professionally, I can tell you that I find the 3/8" wrench to be a lot more practical for everyday jobs. Unless you're dealing with serious torque, the size difference can be a hassle to manage.
Have you checked if the Milwaukee torque wrench can be calibrated? That might be a key factor in making your decision, especially for precision work!
