I'm looking into the Vatrer battery which is said to have an IP65 rating and a capacity of 10kWh, priced at around $2000. This is appealing compared to EG4's offering at $4000. My situation is a bit tricky since my house lacks a garage for a server rack and I need reliable weatherproof solutions. I'm planning on starting small with one battery and inverter to see how much I can save on my electricity bill before expanding. However, I'm concerned about the battery's stability outdoors throughout the year. I live in an area where winter temperatures typically don't drop below 25°F, but can occasionally hit as low as 10°F during cold snaps. Has anyone actually used the Vatrer batteries in an outdoor setting year-round?

If you're flexible, you might want to explore Ruixu batteries instead. I found some good options that might meet your needs better for outdoor use compared to Vatrer.
You should definitely check out Will Prowse's videos. He reviews the Vatrer batteries and gives a pretty balanced take on their pros and cons. Overall, he leans positive about their performance.
Just a heads up, if you’re considering the wall mount version, remember it’s not really designed for outdoor use despite its IP65 rating. It's more suited for indoor setups, so don’t expect it to withstand the elements for long!
Yeah, I was looking at the 100/200Ah model too, but I confirm, IP65 doesn’t always mean it can handle all outdoor conditions.

True, but keep in mind he hasn't reviewed this latest generation yet. Some have pointed out that while the design seems solid, it lacks a circuit breaker, which might be a concern for safety.
