I'm navigating the craziness of working from home in California with these surprise rolling blackouts. My WiFi drops mid-call way too often, and I'm tired of scrambling to keep my router alive during important Zoom meetings. I even took a backup power course which was super helpful in understanding what's essential, how much power I need, and avoiding unnecessary purchases. Plus, I earned a certificate, which honestly felt awesome. Now my laptop and WiFi stay powered during outages, saving my job (and sanity)! I'm curious if anyone else has cool backup setups for WFH. What works for you?

Did the Academy guide you step-by-step for setting up a backup station? I’m curious if it was helpful for someone like me trying to maintain connectivity during outages!
I've got a pretty solid setup! My router and modem are connected to a hefty UPS I scavenged from a local hospital, which gives me about 4-5 hours of backup. I also have my access points on smaller UPS units that last 1-2 hours. On top of that, I installed 1.2kW of solar panels with a 400Ah battery backup, so I can keep everything charged. I even have a diesel generator just in case things go really south. The only time my main setup went down was when some farmer accidentally blew up a nearby power station!

Totally! The Anker Academy was surprisingly useful. It helped me create a power plan and exactly identify which devices are essential for my work setup. Now I've got my backup power ready to go whenever there’s an outage!
